£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide individualised instruction to students with special educational needs in Mathematics
- Create and implement tailored lesson plans to support each student's learning goals
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure a comprehensive support system for students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience working with students with special educational needs
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum for Mathematics
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Additional training in differentiated instruction techniques
Working Conditions:
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with special educational needs in Mathematics. The work will take place in an educational setting, collaborating with other educators and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for the students.
