Role - Professional Indemnity Associate Solicitor

Firm – Our client is a defendant insurance heavyweight based in central Manchester, with a team handling a wide range of disputes and providing coverage advice to insurance clients. This role has a particular focus on construction claims, so clients in this role range from general insurers and reinsurers, and their insureds, including design and building contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers.

• Handle a vast range of construction professional indemnity disputes and complex coverage advice
• Assist on and supervise large cases in a team environment
• Regular client contact and attend business development events
• Arbitrate, adjudicate and negotiate court proceedings

• Qualified solicitor ideally 2+ PQE
• Experience working in a professional indemnity environment. Construction experience is preferred but not essential
• Experience in handling high value indemnity claims

• Working from home 3 days a week
• City centre-based office
• Tier 1 Legal 500 work
