Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager – aligned to the education and not-for-profit sectors in boutique law firm with great culture and good work/life balance.
This boutique law firm has a great culture and a well-resourced business and marketing function. There is low turnover in the business development team and you’ll enjoy a good work/life balance. This is a really exciting opportunity to get involved with sectors that are a little bit different – education and not-for-profit/charities.
Managing a BD Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering the strategy and plans for the two groups; Managing bids and proposals, particularly to the NFP sector; Working with the marketing delivery team to develop campaigns and communications; Running both in-person and virtual events; Playing an advisory role to the partners around cross-selling and going to market with one voice; Managing the firm’s relationships with industry bodies.
You will have really solid business development and marketing experience gained in a major law firm or possibly accounting/consulting firm. Experience of targeting the not-for-profit and government sector is desirable although not essential. You will have the charm and diplomacy to influence partners and drive things forward at a pace that they feel comfortable with.
