We’re seeking a Studio Manager to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our Director of Design Operations. You will be responsible for operational management of the Design studio facilities.
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our Bicester location. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you’ll do- Lead all new Design facilities projects. Timing, supplier co-ordination, capital investment planning.
- Responsible for Design Health and safety. Risk assessments, workplace inspections, training, H&S audits, COSHH, PUWER, H&S measures and management reporting.
- Responsible for management of the Design facilities budget (Specialist facilities, annual maintenance contracts, events budgets, Design facilities OPEX)
- Events management. Oversee facilities set up for internal and external events that are located at the Design studios.
- Management of the Digital Design review spaces, assets and calendar.
- Work closely with Real Estate team in the scheduling and management of all Studio maintenance work, ensuring that all work is carried out promptly and effectively by Studio suppliers and landlord.
- Management of all studio equipment budgets. Working with facility leads in Modelling Operations and Digital Design to ensure equipment is calibrated and kept in good working order. Management of facilities upgrade plan.
- Work closely with the Real Estate team and office managers in the co-ordination of 3rd party maintenance and Studio cleaning
- Development of Design security SOW and day to day to management of Design security activities. Regularly reviewing Design security performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the Real Estate team in Identifying and resolving any studio operational issues.
- Support and manage all facilities management inputs into the “ISO” Quality Management Systems.
- An Experienced facilities or project manager, with a good understanding of the Automotive Design and development process
- Good understanding of the Automotive Design and modelling facilities and process
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
- NEBOSH qualified, or working towards a NEBOSH qualification in Health and Safety
- Experienced in delivering and managing internal and external events – involving multiple suppliers and agencies
- Possess exceptional organisational and communication skills
