As part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Clinical Services will drive the hospital's vision and strategic plans while maintaining high standards in quality, safety, patient satisfaction, and financial performance. This role demands leadership and communication excellence, along with an innovative and collaborative approach to improve hospital services continually.Experience and Skills:
Significant clinical leadership and management experience, ideally in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and infection prevention practices.Candidates must hold an active NMC registration.
Capable of supporting and mentoring line managers, providing guidance and resources to help them lead their own teams effectively.
Financial experience with budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation.
Skilled in strategic planning and aligning team objectives with the broader organisational goals.
Proven experience ensuring compliance with CQC standards and other legal, professional care standards.
Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
A strong commitment to nursing, mentorship, and professional development.
