We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Apprentice) to join the team at Snowfields Academy. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children, particularly those with learning difficulties, and provides a valuable pathway for those considering a future career in teaching.
As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will undertake a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship, gaining first-hand experience while working alongside a supportive and passionate team. Whether you’re a school leaver or have some experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, this programme will help you develop key skills and take the next step in your career.

Apprenticeship SummaryAnnual wage: Actual salary £11,246 per annum (£13,725 full time equivalent)
Working weeks: Monday - Friday, Term Time + 1 week inset
Total hours per week: 35.25 (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship) - start and finish times to be agreed
Apprenticeship duration: 18 months approx.
Anticipated start date: February 2025
Apprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)
Apprenticeship standard: Teaching Assistant
Essential entry qualifications: GCSEs A* - C, Maths and English (desirable)
