Job Description

Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Process a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
• Match, batch, and code invoices in line with purchase orders and delivery notes
• Prepare and run weekly and monthly supplier payment runs (BACS/CHAPS)
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Manage the AP inbox and respond to internal and external queries promptly
• Liaise with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve invoice or delivery issues
• Assist with month-end close tasks including accruals and ledger reconciliations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles.
