Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 - Kids Love Nature, Wickham
The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Kid’s Love Nature at their Wickham setting as a Level 3 Apprentice.
Kids Love Nature have developed their own curriculum and approach to create synergy between indoor and outdoor learning. They believe emotional wellbeing and resilience are key to children leading happy, successful and purposeful lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team in a fantastic setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that safeguarding and health and safety procedures are being followed at all times
- Treating each child as a unique individual
- Supporting new children in settling into the environment as appropriate
- Carrying out observation, assessment and planning for own key children (in own time), and all the children in the nursery, including statutory assessment requirements and the completion of child profile books neatly, accurately and regularly.
- Planning and presenting activities to the children, based on their interests and developmental needs, following advice and guidance from colleagues and the nursery management team
- Supporting children to find and engage in constructive activity
- Changing nappies and clothing as needed, and assisting with toilet learning as appropriate
- Contributing to the completion of records such as accident, incident and medical forms as well as sleep and nappy charts, if used
- Discussing any concerns about a child’s welfare or development with the nursery management
- Developing and maintaining the Considered Space
- Supporting and nurturing the Considered Child
- Becoming a considered adult within and part of the prepared environment
- Attending training in line with your Apprenticeship training
- Meeting the statutory requirements and the expectations of the Company as laid out in the relevant documentation.
The ideal candidate will need to be a great team player, confident and outgoing and must be willing to carry out a variety of tasks. You must also you must be imaginative, creative and be committed to a career within Childcare.
Requirements;- A level 2 in Childcare is desired but not essential
- You will have GCSE Grades A*-C in English and; Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS
- Working hours will be approximately 36 hours per week with shifts patterns to be discussed
