Are you ready to lead a team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for members in a thriving industry? As the biggest Trade Association in our sector, membership is at the core of our Policy & Commercial teams' success. We are seeking a dynamic Membership Team Leader to take charge, enhance the membership journey, and deliver value to every member, from small businesses to industry leaders.

Why join us?

In this role, you will partner closely with key stakeholders to ensure seamless membership processes, lead a dedicated team of Membership Contract Executives, and be responsible for everything from new member onboarding to contract renewals and adjustments.

Logistics UK, formerly the Freight Transport Association is one of the biggest business groups in the UK, representing the entire industry with members from the road, rail, sea, and air industries, as well as the buyers of freight services such as retailers and manufacturers whose businesses depend on the efficient movement of goods.

With Brexit, technology and other disruptive forces driving changes in the way goods move across borders and through the supply chain, logistics has never been more important to UK PLC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mastering the membership journey—onboarding new members, managing renewals, and processing any adjustments or cancellations with a customer-first approach.
  • Generating actionable insights through regular reporting, identifying trends and improvements for the Head of Membership.
  • Creating and monitoring KPIs and SLA standards, guaranteeing excellence in every aspect of the membership process.
  • Ensuring communications are timely, accurate, and tailored to each member’s needs, driving satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
  • A strong customer focus and a passion for building successful teams.
  • Proven experience in managing processes and achieving KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence across all levels.
  • Analytical skill and expertise plus a familiarity with CRM systems for a data-driven approach.
