Teaching Personnel are seeking a Passionate Behaviour Support Assistant for a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit in the Bolton area.

We are searching for an exceptional Behaviour Support Assistant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the futures of our students.
Your Role:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, providing essential support to students within our Pupil Referral Unit. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Establishing strong, nurturing connections with students, inspiring trust and encouraging positive behaviour through understanding and empathy.
Implementing strategies and interventions to help students manage their emotions, develop coping skills, and make positive choices in and out of the classroom.
Working closely with teachers to tailor individual support plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each student.
Collaborating with fellow staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to student support.
Tracking student progress and celebrating achievements, no matter how small, to foster a sense of accomplishment and motivation.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Previous experience working with secondary students in a behaviour support role or a related field is highly valued.
A relevant degree or qualification in education, psychology, counselling, or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
Ability to adapt to diverse situations and respond to the varying needs of our students on a day-to-day basis.
Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
Team Teach qualified or have classroom experience within an SEN/SEMH provision
