We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Weld Inspector to join our expanding company on a full time, permanent basis.
The RoleAs our Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough Quality and Weld Inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS), regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- You will utilise all available methods of Inspection, including but not limited to, Visual, Dye Penetrant (LP), Magnetic Particle (MPI), and Ultrasonic (UT) testing in order to carry out comprehensive inspection of all product.
- You will also create accurate inspection reports, including any non-conformances, and work closely with the Production department to address and resolve any quality issues.
About You
You are CSWIP 3.1 qualified as well as having at least one additional Inspection qualification in NDT such as Dye penetrant, Magnetic Particle or Ultrasonic testing, and you are confident in using them and most likely keen to qualify further.You will definitely have substantial Quality Inspection experience within a similar regulated manufacturing or engineering environment, possibly within a sector such as Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Nuclear or similar. In addition, you have an excellent understanding of welding processes and applications, most likely were a talented welder before moving into Inspection, and you really enjoy working in a busy, demanding, cross-functional position.
On top of all of that, you are proactive, enthusiastic and in possession of excellent communication skills; you tend to work in a methodical manner, with a strong attention to detail and process. You also happen to be friendly, collaborative and self-motivated with a high regard for all health and safety standards in the workplace.About Us

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
