Rehabilitation Instructor/Sports Rehabilitation Therapist
We are looking for a Locum Sports Rehabilitation Instructor/Sports Rehabilitation Therapist to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at Dishforth Medical Centre, in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
Hours:- 37 hours per week
- Monday - Thursday: 8 AM to 5 PM
- Friday: 8 AM to 12 PM
Pay: Up to £25.65 per hour
Essential Requirements:- BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation or JESSRI qualification
- OR BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy with full membership of the Society of Sports Therapy (SST)
- Membership of the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BaSRaT) or SST.
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) sports injuries
About the Role: This position involves working within the Armed Forces' rehabilitation system. However, the focus is on sports injuries and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing and diagnosing sports injuries
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Providing rehabilitation and exercise therapy
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
- Supporting patients' return to duty or civilian life
