The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses or Midwives who are eager to take their careers to the next level. With full funding available, you can study for the BSc Hons/Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) (Health Visitor) starting September 2026, in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton.

Main duties of the job
As a Student Health Visitor, you will: Engage in training to complete the BSc (Hons) Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health (SCPHN – Health Visiting) .
Balance 50% theoretical learning with 50% hands-on practical experience in community health settings .
Work within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with Health Visitors, Public Health Associates, Administration Officers, patients, carers, and other professionals
Carry out clinical duties, supporting families and delivering essential public health services
Gain exposure to mandated Health Visitor contacts, ensuring seamless progression to the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) SCPHN training in Health Visiting
We are looking for- A motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse or Midwife passionate about child and family health ? A valid driver’s license and daily access to a car for travel within Wolverhampton
