Join our team as a Housing Support Worker
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? Do you possess the skills to guide and empower them towards independent living? If so, we are looking for Housing Support Workers to help make a difference at Our Way Leeds!
As a Housing Support Worker, you will take on a crucial role in providing key support and guidance to young people as they navigate the challenges of independent living. Your responsibilities will include building supportive relationships, assisting with the creation and implementation of support plans, collaborating with fellow team members, and working independently when necessary.
Working with young people living in the core & cluster aged between16 and 20 who will need daily support to make the transition to living independently and providing a safe and secure environment which feels like a home. There is a requirement for shift working, evening/weekends plus enhancements for out of hours.
If you have:
- Experience working with vulnerable young people aged 16 to 20
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour and motivate positive change
- Knowledge of housing options and relevant procedures
- A full UK drivers licence and access to a vehicle for work
