Position Overview: As a Full-Time PE Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering an engaging PE curriculum that fosters a love for physical activity and promotes overall well-being. You will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The school has a strong track record of sporting success and community engagement with fixtures along with fantastic results each year, with students showing a particular passion for PE as a subject.The successful candidate will demonstrate real enthusiasm for teaching PE and a willingness to work to make an already established department even stronger with full CPD and ECT support available
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver high-quality PE lessons that align with the national curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the school's physical education program.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PE Teacher, with a track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and a commitment to staying informed about developments in the field of PE education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for promoting physical fitness, well-being, and a healthy lifestyle among students.
