Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant primary schools in the Thornbury area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the diverse needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them reach their academic goals.
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Support students with special educational needs and individual learning plans.
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a safe, organized learning space.
- Participate in school events and activities to enhance student engagement.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- A relevant qualification (such as CACHE Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting children’s development.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service.
