Accounts Assistant - Part Time

We are working with aclient based in Stockport that deal in manufacturing. They are looking for a part time Accounts Assistant to jointheir team.
Your new roleAs theAccounts Assistant you will support the finance team with;
- Production of weeklyaccounts
- Month end procedures,including balancing costs reports
- Support Operators withtheir understanding of the operation cost drivers
- Support the operationsteam on capturing all stats and non-finance info to input into theaccounts
- Assisting with periodBalance Sheet reconciliations
- Weekly & monthlyJournal creation & postings
What you'll need to succeed
You willhave:
- Previousexperience in accounts, purchase ledger and sales ledger
- Knowledge of the Sage (Desirable)
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to workindependently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal andwritten communications
