Junior IT Support Engineer

Robert Half is seeking a skilled interim junior IT support engineer for a London-based innovation company. This is an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend.

Role:

• Provide 1st line support for staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Manage Apple tech stack (MacOS, iOS devices) and offer basic support for Windows environments if necessary.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and hardware configurations.
• Support Office 365 administration, ensuring smooth integration with Apple systems.
• Respond to help desk tickets and ensure issues are resolved within SLAs.
• Collaborate with the IT team to support network troubleshooting, hardware setup, and security best practices.
• Document processes and create user-friendly guides for common issues.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in IT support, preferably in a junior or help desk role.
• Familiarity with MacOS and iOS systems (desirable).
• Basic knowledge of Office 365, Windows 10/11, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical staff.
• A proactive attitude, eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

• 3-month contract with potential for extension.

• 5 days on site - Islington based
