Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative textiles lessons to students, fostering a love for the subject.
- Plan, prepare, and mark coursework, ensuring students make excellent progress.
- Support students in developing practical skills and understanding of textiles techniques.
- Work closely with the Design & Technology department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Monitor and assess student achievement, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth.
- Inspire and motivate students to excel in their studies and develop a passion for the subject.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching textiles at secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge with a creative approach to lesson delivery.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- A commitment to student progress and a willingness to plan and mark work in line with the school’s expectations.
- Specialist Planning & Marking: As a specialist, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons and assess student progress.
