This is a Fixed Term role until 31st March 2026 working 17.5 hours a week.
The aim of the GamPIT study is to develop and evaluate a gambling specific Pavlovian-Instrumental Transfer (PIT) paradigm. The role will involve designing, programming and implementing online and lab-based behavioural experiments.
We are looking for a bright, self-directed, and motivated individual interested in a career in experimental or clinical psychology. One, part-time (0.5 FTE) position is available until March 2026 (subject to funding, FTE and/or contract duration may be extended).The post-holder should have the ability to programme experiments (e.g., using Gorilla), recruit participants online (e.g., Prolific) and in-person, collate and analyse behavioural data and contribute to write up of findings. Prior experience with online and in-person testing in gambling research or related areas and demonstrated experience working as part of a collaborative and productive team are desirable criteria.
