• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Learn and perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyse financial data and create financial models to inform business decisions
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions based on sound analysis
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Work closely across the business to provide invaluable and unique insights from internal data
• Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Finance Analyst should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Experience working within a finance capacity
• Strong analytical skills with the desire and to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information
• Eager to learn financial analysis tactics financial modelling and forecasting
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, and financial software applications would be a bonus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to learn and expand knowledge basis into a new career
