About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Head Chef to oversee culinary operations at Kent College (Senior School). This role requires a strong leader with a passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences for students, staff, and special events.You will also be responsible for providing high-quality meals for our vibrant boarding community, ensuring a nutritious and enjoyable dining experience for students living on campus. You will lead a dedicated kitchen team, ensuring efficient operations while focusing on quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen management, from menu planning to food preparation and staff training.
- Deliver high-quality, nutritious, and creative meals tailored to students' diverse dietary needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen.
- Collaborate with school leadership to create bespoke hospitality offerings for events.
- Inspire and lead a dedicated team to achieve excellence in every service.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior role, ideally in a high-volume or educational setting.
- Culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3) and excellent knowledge of food safety standards.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team effectively.
- Creativity and passion for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a busy kitchen, including occasional evening or weekend work.
