Helpdesk Administrator

Location :Glasgow, G40 3AP

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

Your new role:

What you’ll do:

  • Raise purchase orders for operational staff to ensure no delay to operations due to awaiting parts
  • Liaise with the Finance/ Accounts team for managing queries to invoices
  • Chase purchase order details from engineers feeding back to management any repeat offenders
  • Order office materials when required, maintaining sufficient stock in the Facilities Support Centre
  • Manage all FSC property-based POs and invoicing (eg. monthly rent, data etc)
  • Maintain office noticeboard, including showcasing business updates
  • Maintain a level of understanding of key contracts & processes
  • Assist FSC Helpdesk Manager with mailbox management
  • Build knowledge of various areas of RFM through visits to other sites
  • Additional Admin duties as and when required

What you’ll need:

  • Strong communication, analytical & numerical skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Teams, PowerPoint & Excel.
  • The ability to prioritise based on a good understanding of Commercial activities
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to effectively manage their own workload and communicate confidently and openly with others
  • An approachable and flexible working style
  • The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a variety of different teams

Who we’re looking for:

Administration duties in the Facilities Support Centre (FSC) to assist in the provision of effective support services to both internal and external customers in Robertson. The FSC Admin Support Assistant will engage with all colleagues in the FSC function to drive standardised and timely support activities to help produce and maintain an efficient and effective service.
