Production Assistant

Job Summary:

The role of the Droga5 Production Assistant [PA] is to provide comprehensive and effective support to the Production department and Head of Production.

The role is equal parts right-brain and left-brain - someone who is passionate about culture and creativity and has an irrepressible urge put incredible things out in the world, as well as being organized and methodical, with a forensic eye for detail (even under pressure).

Essential Functions:

• To view and increase knowledge of production partners – Directors, photographers, editors, VFX, Sound, musicians etc.
• To learn the production process, and about industry issues in general.
• To be the guardian of the production process, to own and have full control of every assigned project.
• Manage day-to-day communications activities (scheduling, reporting, billing, meeting arrangements, etc).
• To be responsible for providing a solid foundation of paperwork for the team to work from.
• To be fully aware of what is going on at any time during a production
• To increase your learning and experience by; attending any bookings that the Producer deems relevant.
• To book and set up any meetings the Producer requires.
• To be responsible for taking comprehensive minutes during meetings and circulating copies to all parties.
• To perform the role of researcher on every production.
• To work with the Studio team, assisting on case studies, pitch reels, mood films, research etc.
• To work closely with the producers across all mediums, within the production department
• To understand, and work to, all Droga5 systems and processes.
• To work closely with Business Affairs - QC
• To work as part of a team
• To constantly question and double-check.
