Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in various subjects.
  • Create individualised learning plans to cater to each student's specific needs and abilities.
  • Implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for SEN students.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEN.
  • Knowledge of SEN practises and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN.
  • Understanding of different learning needs and how to address them effectively.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Additional training or certification in Special Education.
  • Experience using assistive technology to support SEN students.
  • Part-time hours, typically during school hours.
  • Work on a temporary basis with the possibility of extension.
  • Collaborative work environment with teachers, parents, and support staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
