We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full time PTS Operations Team Leader to work within a geographical area of PTS as part of the local management team in Northallerton.

Main duties of the job
To monitor and supervise the performance of PTS staff ensuring the delivery of high quality service standards to the trusts commissioners and patients.
Responsible for the treatment, care and safe transportation of patients, carrying out those responsibilities in a reliable and professional manner whilst adhering to the polices and standards inherent within the trust
Supervise staff in all aspects of their work on stations and with patients and in relation to maximizing efficiency, including monitoring turnaround times of crews.
Establish constructive relationships with colleagues, staff at hospitals and patients.
Continuously seek ways to bring ways to bring about performance improvement through teamwork in the PTS service.

Person specification
Essential
Essential criteria- Level 2 entry requirement e.g. 3 GCSEs grade A*-C or NVQ level 2 or equivalent management experience
- Use of initiative to solve problems
- Previous experience of a similar role or an in-depth understanding of the demands and challenges of working in a Patient Transport Service
- Knowledge and experience of using computer software, e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word etc. and bespoke software to manage patient information and plan resources
- Medically fit to undertake role
- Experience of managing staff and leading a team
- Leadership or Management Qualification
