Salary: £166 per day
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join a reputable primary school in Caerphilly. This full-time position is to cover a maternity leave starting in April 2025. The successful candidate will primarily support the Early Years class during morning sessions, assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing support to individual students and small groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide support to individual students and small groups to enhance their learning experience.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Help with classroom management and organisation.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Welsh is essential.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is preferred.
- A passion for supporting young learners and contributing to their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated educational team.
