Michael Page is partnering with a global Insurance Firm to assist them in hiring a Senior Reinsurance Accountant for their Central London based team.
Job Description
Key responsibilities of this Senior Reinsurance Accountant role in the Financial Services sector in London:
- Booking reinsurance premiums and losses
- Cash clearing and settlement
- Reviewing and recording reinsurance technical accounts
- Monitoring the receipt of technical accounts
- Recording claim transactions
- Reviewing and monitoring outstanding loss reserves
- Collaborating with the Claims department to report paid losses and reserves
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal candidate for this Senior Reinsurance Accountant role in the Financial Services sector in London:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Prior Reinsurance/Insurance Accounting experience in Operations and Finance is required
- Strong skills in spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures
