Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
- Supervise students during break times and other non-academic activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and development of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Person specification:
- Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is helpful but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to adapt and learn new teaching methods and strategies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
