In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring alignment between supply and customer requirements. Your analytical skills and strategic thinking will play a crucial role in optimizing our operations and meeting market needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams for demand planning and inventory alignment.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels to avoid stockouts or excess stock.
  • Use forecasting methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyse demand patterns and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Enhance forecasting processes for better responsiveness.
  • Track and report demand forecast changes, including weekly stock buy planning and sales projections for new products.
  • Lead logistics for overseas stock collections and deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipping.
  • Advocate for data-driven reporting and develop Demand Planning tools at various levels.
  • Manage inventory through weekly reconciliation, stock sheet maintenance, and review of product health.
  • Lead ERP improvements and efficiencies within the team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser, Demand Planning Assistant, or in a similar role, preferably in the beauty or retail industry
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting tools and Microsoft Excel
  • Experienced in using an ERP system, preferrable with experience of implementing a new ERP system
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and respond effectively
