Would you like to join a unique SME organisation in a financial leadership position during a period of change? CMA is working exclusively with this Fareham based, international organisation to recruit a Financial Controller on fixed-term contract basis for 12 months.

Reporting to the CFO (not based at site), the Financial Controller will oversee the general accounting function including management of a small team. This is very much an end-to-end position which will have strategic input whilst remaining close to the numbers.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department including month-end, budgeting and cashflow forecasting;
Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;
Project accounting to show the effects of proposed plans on capital investments and cash position;
Assist with UK and foreign entity audit process, intercompany transactions and provide financial analysis to support decision making.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:

Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable financial leadership experience gained in an SME environment;
Possess experience with international entities;
Experience in a project environment is advantageous;
Be available to start within a one month notice period.
