Job Description
The Learning and Development Partner will report to the Learning and Development Manager in a key role with prime responsibility to facilitating, delivering and adapting training initiatives that support business objectives.You will be responsible for a number of sites training needs within a region, therefore a willingness to travel is required.
Can be based at our Northampton or Lutterworth site.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.Key Duties of a Learning and Development Partner:
- Identify any skills gaps within both the organisation and individuals, offering guidance and support to develop capabilities
- Deliver courses aimed at personal career development and management skills
- Be experienced at face to face as well as virtual training to ensure both formats are effective
- Design and maintain training course content to align departments with company objectives, increase business performance and continuous improvement
- Support employees and managers with succession plans and annual reviews
- Maintain continuous professional development and actively seek improvement opportunities for L&D, utilising E-Learning, virtual learning and blended learning
- Offer short term coaching contracts and establish mentoring relationships
- Maintain efficient L&D administration and planning practices, such as managing individual calendar and training attendance, etc.
- Be able to develop strong working relationships with internal senior stakeholders and show credibility to colleagues at all levels
- Recognise the balance between travelling to build personal relationships and scheduling meetings online to maximise operational time
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages and confident with learning new bespoke software

- Be able to work independently and proactively, as well as thriving as collaborating as a team
- Show the ability to identify the most appropriate communication method and be clear and concise at all times

- Previous experience within a similar L&D position.
- Confident presenting to individuals and groups.
- Experience with the use of Power Point.
- Exceptional training and coaching skills.
- Ability to motivate people to higher levels of performance.
- Establishes good relationships with a range of people.
- Recognises and rewards the contribution of others.
- Listens, consults others and communicates proactively.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to manage own workload.
