Private Client Solicitor

My client based in a lovely modern office setting is looking to hire a full-time NQ Private Client Solicitor.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual, with expertise and passion for handling a comprehensive range of private client matters. They should be personable, sociable, and possess excellent communication skills, with a particular sensitivity to the vulnerabilities of some of our clients, especially during challenging times.

Job Description:

• Undertake fee-earning work and contribute profitably to the department.
• Handle Wills, powers of attorney, probate with tax advice for private clients, and have a basic understanding of trusts.
• Engage in the firm’s marketing efforts through active participation in networking, seminars, and other local events.
• Collaborate with other departments to actively seek clients and offer services.
• Maintain and enhance client care.
• Develop your own specialist areas of work.
• Be willing to travel for client meetings and manage appointments independently.
• Be proficient with online file management and assist in improving internal procedures.

Position Details:

• Permanent, ideally full-time but a minimum of 4 days per week.
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive.
• Hybrid working – typically 1 day a week from home, with flexibility.
• Salary range: £35,000 - £40,000.
