Registered Care Home Manager

Type: Permanent, Full-time (Monday - Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, 45 hours per week)

The client is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to ensure the home runs smoothly and continues to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the care staff and ensure service users receive safe, effective, and high-quality care.
• Protect service users from avoidable harm and manage risks.
• Manage the medication process and ensure accurate administration and recording.
• Engage service users in decision-making about their care, ensuring their dignity and privacy.
• Lead recruitment, training, and mentoring of new staff members.
• Organise healthcare services, social activities, and ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Monitor and improve service quality and maintain compliance with CQC standards.

Requirements:

• RMA / NVQ Level 5 or equivalent, completed, or enrolled.
• Proven experience as a care home manager or deputy manager.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-working skills.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and elderly/dementia care.
