We have a fixed term or secondment opportunity for 12 months in our busy BI team!

If you are a great communicator and love providing customers with insightful dashboards then this may be the opportunity for you!

Main duties of the job
  • To assist with the delivery of a high quality, responsive and efficient BI development service supporting PAH and customer objectives through delivery of reports through the PAH BI solution.
  • To work with information colleagues and customers, identifying opportunity to deliver reporting services at scale through a “do once” approach to support customers deliver improvement of health care services.
  • To support the Head of BI to implement a culture of customer service and continual improvement.
  • To support the development of the PAH BI solution including assisting in the design and build of the reporting architecture.
  • To support delivery of report developments in an agile manner so they are developed as efficient as possible being in line with best practice which enhance the end user experience.
  • To take advice and guidance from the Head if BI to understand BI development techniques and technologies including best practice to support the teams in developing their specialist understanding and knowledge.

To work with the rest of BI team and wider informatics team to ensure a consistent approach to data visualisation.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • SQL
  • Educated to degree level in computer discipline

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Dashboard building - Qlik, PowerBi etc
  • SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
  • Experienced in working with NHS patient and staff data

Personal qualities

Essential criteria
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Experienced in workload management
