What you'll do:

As a Payroll Specialist, your role will be pivotal in providing an efficient service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing the entire end-to-end payroll process for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Your excellent communication skills will be utilised when dealing with queries and liaising with HR to ensure all employee information is accurately reflected in the payroll system. Your commitment to staying updated on changes in payroll legislation will ensure our processes remain compliant.

  • Provide a positive, personal, responsive, and efficient service to all stakeholders
  • Act as a subject matter expert on UK Payroll
  • Manage the entire end-to-end payroll process for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
  • Provide a fast route to query resolution and deal with queries in person and via case management system
  • Liaise with HR to ensure all employee information is up-to-date and accurately reflected in the payroll system
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports and documents
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices, implementing necessary adjustments to our processes

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Payroll Specialist position, you bring along an up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation coupled with proven experience in payroll processing. Your ability to manually calculate a payslip demonstrates your excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Your advanced Microsoft Excel abilities will be crucial in this role. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders while your good problem-solving skills will help you navigate through challenges.
