Hours: 16 hours per week

The purpose of this role is to provide a variety of help and support at home to older people aged 50+ living in Gwent. The Help at Home service delivers support to the highest standard, assisting individuals with everyday tasks to allow them to remain living independently within their own homes and communities.

Support includes, but is not limited to; wellbeing sessions, shopping, domestic and venue toenail cutting.

All support is tailored to meet the needs of the individual and at an affordable cost whilst also promoting their well-being and dignity. You will be proactive but empathetic and will have a passion for supporting older people and be flexible in order to meet service needs.

You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence with appropriate business user insurance and be willing to use your own car for work purposes. The post holder will be required to undergo an Enhanced Criminal Record check before starting work.
