BaxterStorey is looking for a Head Chef to head up their chef brigade of 8 at Globe House. Located Temple London. A Monday to Friday operation provide breakfast, lunch, retail product across our location.

Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to join our culinary team in London, United Kingdom. As the Head Chef, you will lead our kitchen operations, create innovative menus, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff training
- Develop and implement creative, high-quality, and nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary needs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen
- Collaborate with management to create custom culinary offerings for special events
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of culinary professionals to achieve excellence in every service
- Manage inventory, control costs, and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Continuously innovate and improve kitchen processes and menu offerings
- Participate in menu tastings and quality control checks
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary role
- Culinary qualification (e.g., culinary arts degree or equivalent certification)
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills
- Creativity and passion for delivering high-quality, innovative, and nutritious meals
- Excellent menu planning and cost control abilities
- Proficiency in inventory management and supplier relations
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various departments
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a busy kitchen, including occasional evening or weekend work
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to staying current with culinary trends and techniques
