An exciting opportunity has arisen within South Lanarkshire Council’s Personnel Services for an experienced Learning and Development Advisor to take a lead role in managing a range of functions and projects. This is a diverse role that incorporates a range of areas, so we are looking for someone who thrives when managing multiple teams and projects.
To be successful you will have a background in learning and development; experience in equality, diversity and inclusion; and be able to demonstrate a history of effective partnership working.
You will also be required to proactively plan for the future by keeping up to date with national standards, statutory requirements, and legislation across areas such as equalities and corporate complaints handling.
As a Learning and Development Advisor you will be responsible for leading on the Clyde Valley Learning and Development Group a role that involves partnership working across member authorities, promotion and expansion of the activities the group is involved in, and regular reporting.
Working with other Learning and Development Advisors, this is a key management role where you will contribute to the development of plans and strategies and have the opportunity to shape the future of the services we deliver.
