Belton - Part Time Compensation & Benefits Specialist - EMEA

Overview:

To develop, implement and administer a cost-effective benefit offering with EMEA using both internal and external systems to aid in the delivery. Work with the VP, Global Compensation and/or Compensation Analyst to conduct benchmarking of new and existing roles to ensure they are placed correctly within the salary structure(s).

Work collaboratively with the HR Team to influence strategy on benefits and to develop the ‘One Inotiv’ brand throughout the company.

This is a part-time role working at our Hillcrest site, just outside of Loughborough - some flexibility may be offered for hybrid work. Anticipating 20-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner and collaborate effectively with business-facing HR colleagues to facilitate delivery of the total reward package, including benefits, pension, and compensation package to ensure alignment with other management processes and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of benefit provider relationships
  • Lead, maintain and continually improve all areas of benefits and well-being to ensure an excellent service is provided to the business and its employees.
  • Deliver a clear brand and vision of benefits in EMEA
  • Administer employee benefits, e.g. open enrollment, pensions, re-enrollment, etc.
  • Partner with Pension Trustees, Pension Governance Group and external pension administrators to conduct quarterly asset and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain statutory wage data to assist with annual increases by various country.
  • Work with finance to aid with cost analysis/projection of salaries for FY AOP budgets.
  • Any other additional ad hoc request from the VP, Global Compensation & Total Rewards, Director of Global Benefits or HR Business Partner/Manager.

Seeking:

  • Experienced HR professional with extensive knowledge of benefits and pension program(s).
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Other European language abilities are a plus.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure (conflicting deadlines).
  • Creative problem solver: ability to quickly grasp the business issues and develop the best solution; finds creative ways to solve complex issues among demanding parties and achieve “win-win” resolutions
  • Ability to work on own initiative, managing own workload and demonstrating personal accountability in the delivery of projects.
  • Ability to strategize, design, execute, and communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident, articulate and professional with ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail and proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office products and Outlook applications.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in progressively responsible positions in benefits and compensation related roles.
  • Proficient with advanced skills using of Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of business and/or payroll-related processes, terminology and compliance related to benefit and compensation program(s).
  • Advanced knowledge of statutory requirements and compliance related to pension and wages in the EU.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to understand problems, determine root cause and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Understand business needs from multiple points of view and provides suggestions to address current issues while also maintaining a long-term solution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to relate complex concepts in a concise and easy to understand manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, often under tight time constraints.
  • Effectively work with peers, leadership, and stakeholders in a productive collaborative environment.
  • Ability to understand and comply with confidentiality and privacy rules and protect company property and confidential information.
