Job overview
We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to join the Cancer Team at Derby and Derbyshire ICB. The post holder will support the Head of Department and the wider team to deliver workplans, programmes and projects to support Derby and Derbyshire ICB ambitions to meet the NHS Long term plan.This role requires a dynamic individual with drive to support the successful delivery of ambitious improvement plans to benefit the communities in Derby and Derbyshire.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
Lead specific national and local projects to support the delivery of the Cancer Long Term Plan;Lead specific pieces of work to review services and ensure that we are commissioning for the needs of our population;
Work in partnership with others across the Derbyshire system to meet the cancer recovery agenda;
Support the Head of Cancer and Diagnostics and wider team with the delivery of the diagnostics agenda and associated workstreams, and work across multiple cancer networks, local authority and community and voluntary groups
Lead the production of documentation to the expected standard and report against milestones and delivery of current and future projects
Support the Cancer Team to provide assurance on Cancer transformation financial allocation against delivery of plans;Deputise for the Senior Commissioning Manager Cancer and the Head of Cancer and Diagnostics at appropriate level meetings including chairing where appropriate;
Implementation and co-ordination of the Joined Up Care Derbyshire cancer strategy;
Engender matrix working across the team and with other teams within the ICB;
Work across the ‘Cancer and Planned Care portfolio to align workloads of the team and ensure key projects are prioritised.
