Companies House is seeking an experienced Director of Services to drive their most ambitious reform programme since 1844. The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 has empowered Companies House to play a significant role in the fight against economic crime.This landmark legislation is already reshaping the organisation, but the journey has only begun.

As an executive agency of the Department of Business and Trade, the data on their registers informs business decisions, combats economic crime, drives corporate transparency and supports growth.
Job Role:
Companies House is seeking a Director of Services to be accountable for developing their strategic approach to services, including driving quality and continuous improvement with a view to establishing clarity across end-to-end service provision.
Leading the Service Owners, you will ensure effective collaboration alongside development and continuous improvement of these critical services. You will be instrumental in driving service delivery ethos and best practice, providing representation at Exec and Board level.
You will be responsible for creating a service vision and roadmap that aligns with business goals to promote growth, including the integration of data and technology strategies, and aligning to the Functional Standards for Services. You will create an end-to-end view of the service provision, to ensure all aspects of delivering services meet the highest standards.
You will develop and lead service change management capabilities to ensure successful adoption and use of technology, through proactive engagement with business areas and users; ensuring continuous improvement and service iteration based on user and organisation needs/policy.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent leadership skills, alongside experience of leading services,with an ability to work across the digital, tech, data, operations and policy professions. You’ll also need to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within a complex change environment.
