We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Clinical Operations Manager within Adult Critical Care Emergency Support Service (ACCESS).

ACCESS is an adult critical care transfer service focused on safe, consistent, compassionate, and expert-led transfer of critically ill patients across the capital. We work with London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS), the London integrated commissioning boards and associated critical care networks to provide a transfer service for critically ill patients throughout London 24 hours a day.

We are seeking a highly visible leader who will champion our values from the forefront. You will play a pivotal role in building a team for the future. Excellent communication and a vision for creating a progressive learning environment are essential.
As a skilled, reflective, and critically-thinking practitioner, you will be required to balance clinical priorities and management responsibilities, ensuring delivery of high performance across operational targets, clinical standards, and regulatory compliance.

You will also play a key role in the development and implementation of education and training programs for staff at all levels within the service.

To work as a highly skilled and experienced senior clinical member of the ACCESS team ensuring the provision of clinical expertise in caring for critically ill patients and their carers during transfer. The post holder must be clinically credible demonstrating expert critical care practice, clinical skills and knowledge.

To maintain an effective learning environment and initiate the development of appropriate evidence-based practices to enhance the delivery of effective patientcentred care.Assess quality of a range of clinical and other practice learning environments, determine interventions to sustain and enhance education

Support and facilitate training and development programmes for staff; providing supervision and support structures. Participate in MDT teaching programmes and transfer teaching involving practitioner, medical and ambulance staff.

Co-ordinates and provides on-site operational support, educational input and training and development programmes for the team.

Support the Transfer Service manager with day to day operational management of the service.

To act as a team leader for a designated group of staff ensuring all statutory and mandatory training requirements and appraisals are maintained
