**JOB NOTES YOU NEED TO KNOW: this job is based in Peterborough city centre and is 100% office based - no working from home and the office doesn't have a car park. You will be required to use your own car to move archived documents to and from the off-site storage unit on average once per week.
Your new company
Our client is a lovely professional firm in a central location, across the road from the cheapest car park in the city centre in lovely modern offices which include a really nice coffee shop / café and a small gym that you can use free of charge.
As a result of the business doing so well, the team that looks after the central office is expanding and that's why we are looking to bring someone into the business in this newly created job.
Your new role
Your job will be to make sure that, as part of a team, you look after all visitors and colleagues in the Peterborough office. This includes everything from processing paperwork, raising orders for stationery, tea and coffee etc, organising the regular office training sessions, working with the charity partner on fundraising activities, updating the client database so they can be invited to events and seminars, doing new starter safety inductions, taking items to and from the off-site storage unit (still in Peterborough) and occasionally covering reception.
It's a really varied job so you won't be bored and the more proactive you are, the more you can bring in new elements to your work, shaping the job into something that you really love.
What you'll need to succeed
ESSENTIAL - you will need your own car / driving licence because the company needs you to take things to and bring things back from their archive storage unit. Our client told me that they need someone with office experience in administration or as a co-ordinator who can work proactively.
Of course, you'll have great attention to detail, discretion and professionalism, a friendly personality and be a great team player.
What you'll get in returnThis is a lovely office to work in with a friendly, loyal bunch, so it's a smashing place to spend 37.5 hours per week!
The company has a fantastic benefits plan, so you can save money and get access to all sorts of discounts as well as having support for your physical and mental health and financial wellbeing.
It's an interesting job with lots of variety too.
