Salary: £50,483 to £60,960 plus a car allowance of £5,500 (ECU)**

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our passionate Customer & Quality team and lead a team of skilled. You will be responsible for ensuring that our new build homes meet the L&Q Quality Standard, and any issues raised by customers moving into their new homes are handled correctly and resolved promptly.You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of new homes, with particular focus on design proposals, building form and building construction. You will ensure there is full compliance within the legislative and regulatory framework.
You will need to be an experienced manager as you will be managing a team of Quality Inspectors ensuring they provide an effective service to monitor quality of work on site and that new homes delivered to customers are finished to the L&Q Quality Standard prior to occupation.You will work closely with your colleagues in the Development Division, stakeholders from within L&Q and a variety of contractors and consultants in order to ensure that L&Q achieve industry leading customer satisfaction with the new homes. You will make a real difference in developing an effective, efficient and responsive quality management process.
Preferably RICS qualified, we are looking for you to have knowledge in the construction of new buildings, on large scale developments and regeneration schemes incorporating both sustainable construction elements and new technologies. You will require the experience and knowledge to review the progress of all elements of construction contracts.You will need to have an ability to identify and advise on multiple issues to ensure the highest level of contract compliance. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of project life cycle management to ensure that quality and value for money is achieved at all times.
It is essential that you are a first-class communicator with experience of working with a variety of different stakeholders. You will be able to liaise effectively with contractors, designers and specialist sub-contractors, residents, and our own technical and housing management staff.You will also be experienced in dealing with customers first hand and have an appreciation of the Aftercare requirements of new homes and associated facilities.
You will need to be computer literate and be able input and retrieve data from computer management systems. This appointment will require a combination of both site and office based activities so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle on a daily basis is essential.
