TEACHER OF ENGLISH
MPS / UPS + TLR for the right candidate
(Permanent Position)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher who is able to teach English throughout the school at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and A-Level. The successful candidate will be well-qualified & have a passion for teaching and for their subject.In return you will be offered a tailored CPD programme and abundance of support . This is an excellent opportunity for teachers and ECT teachers who want to excel in their field.
They will be joining an accomplished team within the faculty with a proven track record of success in developing staff and achieving great outcomes for our students.
The faculty prides itself in its engaging curriculum that leads to many students opting to continue their studies into the sixth form.
What the school offers its staff
The English faculty is housed in a dedicated block with nine classrooms, including its own IT suite, staff base and a library resources centre. Through hard work and dedication, the faculty has consistently produced results that are typically above national average.In the Sixth Form, English, English Literature and Media Studies have been popular subject options and several students go on to do English related courses at university each year. TLR to be offered to the right candidate and will be discussed at interview.
