Job title: Teaching Assistant

Somerset Education Alliance, a 10 year old award-winning agency are looking for Primary specialists to fill a wonderful 1:1 Teaching Assistant position in the Wells area.

We cover day to day, short term and long-term supply, and are always on the look out for Primary teachers, secondary teachers, cover supervisors, HLTAs and teaching assistants to join our team for opportunties in Wells and the surrounding areas.

Part time and full time applicants are encouraged to join!

The Job Role

We are looking for passionate and driven teaching support staff to join our team for supply teaching assistant assignments in and around the Wells area.

This role in particular is a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Wells. This is a full time, ongoing position to commence soon

To cover day to day, long-term, short-term, and permanent positions in a variety of educational settings. Flexible working hours available, accommodating full or part-time working.

• Supporting the class teacher
• Following safeguarding and school policies

• Liaising with school staff

• Previous experience working alongside children
• Knowledge of the curriculum
• A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
• A 3 year minimum reference history
• Reliability
• Excellent communication skills
