This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with an interest in working with children.

The Children’s Therapy Team provides services to children aged 0-19 years with varying special needs. You will be responsible for assisting the Occupational Therapy Team in a variety of community settings such as nurseries, mainstream schools, clinic setting and children’s homes.

Experience of working with children with disabilities will be an advantage, however, we do provide a comprehensive supervision structure, in-service training and peer support.

The closing date may be brought forward if sufficient applications have been received.

Duties will include providing general administrative and organisational support, assisting in the delivery of therapy programmes and group sessions and maintenance of prescribed equipment.

The ability to complete manual handling, work independently, as well as being a team player, is vital. You must be able to demonstrate good organisational and communication skills, as well as have an understanding of the needs of children with disabilities and their carers.
