Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of early childhood education. This role is essential in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.

Duties
  • Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and education.
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement strategies to support their growth.
  • Manage nursery budgets, resources, and supplies effectively.
  • Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.
Experience
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • A relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare management would be advantageous.
