What's the job?:

Join Us as a Content Planning Manager!

Are you ready to lead the way in content strategy and execution? We're looking for a Content Planning Manager to champion our Local Asset Briefing and Production process—bringing to life exciting new range reviews, major re-launches (aka Neutrons), and seasonal campaigns.

In this pivotal role, you'll transform Category Range ‘Vision Packs’ and briefs into actionable and inspiring content briefs. You'll orchestrate a smooth production process, ensuring that every asset—evergreen or campaign-specific—is delivered on time, on budget, and on brand.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving innovation across content planning and asset creation.
  • Working hand-in-hand with category teams, local content creators, Kingfisher Own Brand teams, and external vendors.
  • Clearly assigning responsibilities for asset production and aligning all stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Making sure our Marketing Channels and Digital teams have everything they need to make a strong impact.
  • Leading the seasonal content planning process, ensuring our quarterly campaigns are translated into cohesive and compelling seasonal content.

What we’re looking for:

  • A strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for content.
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • A pro at turning vision and strategy into impactful, real-world content deliverables.

If you're ready to bring structure, creativity, and leadership to a high-impact content role—we’d love to hear from you. Be a driving force behind our content success!

What we need::

  • 5+ years’ experience working in marketing.
  • 3+ years’ experience project managing, either managing marketing campaigns, packaging re-designs or publications, content and photography for marketing and product launches.
  • Good understanding of different marketing channels, including e-commerce, social media, email and digital advertising.
  • Highly personable, with an ability to build strong business relationships, collaborate and build rapport and trust with stakeholders.
  • Relentless internal and external customer focus.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • You take the lead, make recommendations, and ensure decisions are made swiftly.
  • Ability to manage projects to deadline, strong planning, and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to challenge and push back in a non-confrontational way, to get the best decision for the business.
  • Flexibility and capability to multi-task, juggling multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Retail Marketing experience desirable but not essential.

What's in it for me?:

As well as a competitive salary, our benefits package includes an award-winning pension scheme, ShareSave options, 6.6 weeks holiday, payroll giving, an Employee Assistance Programme, shopping discounts, colleague wellbeing benefits and lots more!

As part of a great team, you’ll be supported to grow and encouraged to explore new career directions within the business and the wider group. And, because you’ll be inspiring great things for our customers and the whole business, you’ll do work worth caring about.

We want to ensure that all employees, future employees and applicants to all Kingfisher companies are treated equally regardless of age, gender, marital or civil partnership status, colour, ethnic or national origin, culture, religious belief, philosophical belief, political opinion, disability, gender identity, gender expression or sexual orientation.
